Samad loved animals. His dream was to spend a whole day in a forest and sleep in the treehouse. Follow Samad as he embarked on this adventure where he made wonderful friends and amazing discoveries. Going into a forest has never been so much fun. Samad zolaka bambisi. Kivuvu na yandi ya nene vandaka ya kulutisa kilumbu ya mvimba na mfinda ti kulala na nzo ya banti. Landa Samad na nzila na yandi ya kutambula na mfinda, kisika yandi bakaka banduku ya mbote mpi yandi sengumunaka bima mingi. Yandi sepelaka na mfinda mutindu mutu mosi mesalaka yo ve na ntoto.
Über den Autor / die Autorin
Mohammed Umar was born in Azare in Nigeria's Bauchi State. He studied political science at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He then graduated with an M.A. in journalism from Moscow State University (1991) and M.A. in political economy from Middlesex University, UK (1996). Mohammed Umar served as a judge for the Caine Prize for African Writing in 2009 and he was the winner of the Muslim News Award for Excellence in Arts in 2010. He lives in London.
