In a world undergoing rapid digital transformation, Senegal is positioning itself as a key player thanks to innovative initiatives in the information and communication technologies (ICT) sector. This book explores the crucial role of CTIC, the first technology business incubation center in French-speaking West Africa, in the development of digital entrepreneurship in Senegal.Through a detailed case study, the author highlights the internal development dynamics, challenges and opportunities associated with start-up incubation. The book also examines the impact of public policies, notably the "Emerging Senegal" Plan, and how they are shaping the entrepreneurial ecosystem.Adopting a qualitative approach, the book offers an in-depth analysis of the perceptions of digital sector players, the role of the ICTC and the paths taken by entrepreneurs. Ousmane Niang ist Doktor der Soziologie. Er ist ordentlicher Dozent für Soziologie in der Abteilung für Gemeindeentwicklung und Ausbildung der Ecole Supérieure d'Economie Appliquée an der Universität Cheikh Anta Diop.Ousmane Niang beschäftigt sich seit über zwanzig Jahren mit der Entwicklung digitaler Technologien.
