Gabriela Epstein is a
New York Times,
Publishers Weekly,
ABA, and
USA Today bestselling cartoonist based in Austin, Texas. Originally from Philadelphia, she studied oil painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and later pursued a degree in illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. After graduating, she worked as a character designer for 2D animation. She quickly transitioned into publishing, adapting two Baby-Sitters Club graphic novels for Scholastic Graphix, as well as cocreating and illustrating the award-winning bilingual graphic novel
Invisible. Epstein is currently writing and illustrating the sequel to the graphic novel
Danny Phantom: A Glitch in Time, the continuation of the television series for Abrams Books and Nickelodeon.
