TheJapanConferenceonDiscreteandComputationalGeometry(JCDCG)has beenheldannuallysince1997. Oneofthegoalsofthisconferenceseriesistobring togetherJapaneseresearchersfrombothacademiaandindustrywithresearchers inthese?eldsfromabroadtosharetheirrecentresults. JCDCG2000washeld22 25November2000atTokaiUniversityinTokyo inconjunctionwiththecelebrationofWorldMathematicsYear2000. Atotalof 120participantsfrom20countriesattended.
