En la Santísima Eucaristía entramos en comunión misteriosa, aunque verdadera y profunda, con toda la Trinidad: con el Padre, mediante Cristo, en el Espíritu Santo.
Toda la Trinidad está presente, aunque invisible, en torno al altar. Cristo, que se ofrece a mí en la comunión, es el mismo Cristo indiviso que se ofrece también al hermano que está junto a mí.

Raniero Cantalamessa, OFM Cap, taught the history of Christian origins at the Catholic University of Milan and served on the International Theological Commission. He devotes his ministry to preaching and writing, and from 1980-2024 served as the Preacher to the Papal Household.
