Deckard is a nonbinary science fiction author from Europe. They grew up with a fascination for nature on and off our planet and were drawn to fantastical stories in all forms of media, but the written word had always been their favorite.
After the educational system did its best to keep Deckard from writing creatively they have embraced writing as a medium of self expression and healing. Deckard works part time as a novelist, part time as an office worker.
Beings outside the binary have been part of science fiction for a long time, mostly in subtext. Deckard wants to have more nonbinary representation in text. They want to bring more queer characters and themes into the genre they love. So they write the stories that they want to see in this world.
