Carlos Dueñas Rey, natural de Toledo, es un autodidacta apasionado por la historia y el patrimonio de su ciudad natal. Su fascinación por la Catedral de Toledo, un ícono emblemático de la urbe, surgió durante sus años de trabajo en una farmacia cercana a este majestuoso templo. Motivado por su interés en la historia, las tradiciones, las leyendas y los misterios que envuelven a la ciudad, decidió compartir sus conocimientos a través de las redes sociales. Impulsado por el aliento de un amigo escritor, dio el paso hacia la publicación impresa, dando origen a obras notables como 'Enigmas y misterios de Toledo', 'Toledo mágico y misterioso' o 'La catedral de Toledo', todas editadas por Almuzara.
