Knowing the risks associated with electricity, parallel to the research and scientific developments on its applications, technical safety standards were also established to mitigate or eliminate such risks, becoming the sector with the greatest standardisation. The correct application of these standards means that electromagnetic applications can be considered safe and reliable.
