Her first book, William Wordsworth and the Invention of Tourism, 1820-1900 (2014), explored numerous Victorian guidebooks to the Lake District and discussed their role as a mediator in disseminating the Wordsworthian way of appreciating the natural world. She has also published several articles on Wordsworth's Guide and his poetry from the viewpoints of literary tourism, nature writing, and environmentalism.
