Originally, he worked as a business teacher for 24 years before deciding to make a career change and pursue his passion for writing. Since then, he has published three books. Despite his successful career as a writer, René Burkhard is also a devoted father. He has two wonderful daughters and is a proud grandfather of three grandchildren. As a family-oriented person, he understands the importance of teddy bears for children and how much they cherish them. René Burkhard himself has a teddy bear from his childhood, which still proudly sits in his living room. This deep connection to teddy bears and the memories of his own childhood have inspired him to embrace and bring to life Monica Becker's charming idea.
