Beverly Simmons, iNSL Board Chair, 100 Women Leaders in STEM, and Ten80 Ed Founder, Beverly Simmons, is a social entrepreneur who started working with project-based learning and data-driven decision-making more than 30 years ago. Through ground-breaking educational initiatives and award-winning national programs, Simmons has maintained a social entrepreneur mindset. She launched the engineer-educator collaborative platform used to develop and launch The Ten80 Student Racing Challenge. Beverly has worked with the U.S. State Department to share good STEM practices and mentor educators from international students in Tbilisi, Georgia, to Safe Schools Healthy Students in Dooly County, Georgia, USA.
