Dr Gabor Lukacs (1937), former research director of the most important French research centre for medicinal chemistry, has published over 160 papers of which 25 jointly with his Japanese colleagues and directed 22 doctoral theses. Several of his students are professors
in various universities. He has spent many years on researching and writing this important work Kaitai Shinsho, the single most famous Japanese book of medicine & Geka Sōden, an early very important manuscript on surgery.
