In practice, interdisciplinarity in Pharmacy can be seen in several areas, such as drug production, where chemistry, molecular biology, and pharmaceutical technology work together to develop and produce drugs with quality and safety. In clinical analysis, interdisciplinarity is fundamental for accurate diagnostic tests, involving areas such as molecular biology, clinical chemistry, and microbiology. In the area of pharmacovigilance, interdisciplinarity is important for monitoring the effects of drugs after they are marketed, involving areas such as pharmacology, epidemiology, and statistics. In summary, interdisciplinarity is fundamental to Pharmacy, as it allows the integration of different areas of knowledge to solve problems and develop new technologies, thus ensuring the promotion of health and the well-being of society.
