This short story 'Celtae' (plural and Latin name for Celts) covers various aspects of the history, beliefs mythology of the Celts and related fields. It records aspects and quotes from experts who have studied the subject in great detail. The history of the Celts is complex and is based on storytelling, which was a gift that they had. It tells of the heroes of the Celts and touches on the battles that they fought. It touches on the role of the Druids, the Bards and their educational processes. The story is not written in chronological order or in order of importance, as each section is to a great extent 'stand alone'. It touches on the demise of the Celts and their removal to the Western seaboard and how present materialism is at variance with their value systems based to a large extent on non-materialistic principles and a spirituality that valued wonderment and right action. It can be seen from the text of the story that indigenous languages are key elements in preserving native cultural values. However, unfortunately, the numbers of native languages are being lost in huge numbers. Much of this short story concentrates on Irish Celts because there is more information available.
