Seven immortals walk the earth, never can there roam an eighth. This prophecy has defined the millennia-long life of Curipan, who possesses the world-saving power to unmake immortals. Haunted by the lives she has stolen, Curipan struggles to make sense of a reality defined by trauma and loss. But when her burden becomes more than she can bear, Curipan seeks to reclaim her forgotten humanity and finds herself caught in the middle of a primordial war between the spirits of life and death.

Jacob Murray is a comic book author and sitcom Associate Director. As a teenager, Jacob found his passion for storytelling when he learned that whining to your friends about unrequited love made you a pain in the ass, but writing about it made you an artist. Always telling stories in one medium or another, Jacob has found a delightful home in comics. Hewing towards fantasy, his first graphic novel, Court of the Dead: Shadows of the Underworld debuted in 2018. The Eighth Immortal is his first creator-owned work.
