D. Ferris Arfaa hopes that the book will inspire others to take a journey through scripture to find, explore, and cherish the treasure chest of God's heart. Now retired in Delaware and an active participant in her church's Prayer Team and Bible study, this attorney-at-law turned poet graduated magna cum laude while earning a bachelor's degree in finance from the Notre Dame of Maryland University. A juris doctor degree followed from the University of Baltimore School of Law, as did many awards for legal and community involvement in Maryland. D. Ferris Arfaa was a Registered Nurse before receiving her degree in finance and an adjunct Professor of Business Law at the Notre Dame of Maryland University from 2000 to 2004.
Furthermore, this poet is the author of the collection of the eminently spiritual poetic verse first penned in 2006 in The Gift of God's Word (New Edition - 2023) and the motivational poems sparking a personal revival of faith in each of us released in 2021 in From the First Nightingale to the Last: Poetry of the Salvation Song of Jesus Christ and the Twelve Apostles. The release in 2023 of her current book, The Gift of God's Heart containing 41 spiritual poems realized from scripture and presented as a Biblical journey from Genesis to Revelation to find God's essence, represents D. Ferris Arfaa's continuation of the 'The Gift ...' series.
