Relationships are tiny flowers on the fabric of time. Arunabh in the novella "A palm with vanishing lines", stays sandwiched between infinite probabilities life would ever be studded with & life's cruel monotony. What's his takeaway from the chaos? 'Why can't we remember the future?' is a big confusion in space-time intimacy. In "Time: the protagonist", the young man roams in search of time and finds time crucified by hands of the clock. 'Can time vanish from a place?', ' Is time a mere witness?' and many questions hook his mind.

Saqti Mohanty (1974) has his own inimitable ways of seeing things. Time, instincts, relationships are the ingredients of true joys in his literary recipes. Loved for his rich metaphors and similes, Mr. Mohanty has many regional and national recognitions. He has one novel, a short story collection and four poetry anthologies to his credit. It is essentially the ceaseless journey from the domain of realities to that of desires, dreams and fantasies, the deep urge to stay there but the inevitable return that his writings reflect with strings of striking ability. Presently he is teaching Physics and lives in Bhubaneswar.
