Amy starts this journey in what could be call the first part "My Interview With a Fairy" where she becomes a near fairy, and first meets a Rubump. But each book can be read as a stand alone. This time Amy is visiting her grandparents and gets the chance to learn more about Rubumps. Jerald (Amy's new Rubump friend) have a lot of adventures and share their inventions with the readers. Jerald is the sort of a scientist/invertor for his village but isn't allowed to live in the village. The adventures start just after he takes Amy into his realm and he needs to make her large again. Somehow things in his realm really get mixed up and it takes them a while to figure out why. Learning real magic takes time and sometimes it can get a little strange..

Lauresa Tomlinson is North American born and has a vivid imagination and has entertained with her stories from a very early age. After taking a class in college, she was told she should start writing down her stories so others could enjoy them. She is the mother of six children, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her goal is to help keep imagination alive and well in a positive state and says that learning should never end.
