Kate Lord Brown curated art collections for palaces and embassies in Europe and the Middle East, and after many years living overseas recently returned to the UK. Kate gained a MA in creative writing from the Manchester Writing School. She was a finalist in the ITV People's Author contest, '
The Perfume Garden' was shortlisted for UK Romantic Novel of the Year and she was a regional winner in the BBC International Radio Playwriting Competition. Kate's novels have been translated into many languages, and have been top ten bestsellers in the US/Canada, UK, Germany, Norway and Spain. In 2020 Kate was a finalist in the RNA's Elizabeth Goudge Trophy.
