Educating the Girl-Child in Sierra Leone - A Research Based Approach

This text delves into the educational system in Sierra Leone with particular focus on Girl-Child Education. Educating the Girl-Child should be deliberate and purposeful as it's imperative on government and donor partners to curb this challenge. Girl-Child education should go beyond just sending girls to school rather it must involve the creation of conducive atmosphere in schools, ensuring that knowledge is acquired throughout the learning process and the ability of these children to contribute to societal development. Research based evidences are presented in this text that will enable the reader to understand this topic.The author discovered that the problem facing girl-child education can be easily addressed when there is a concerted effort from government and other developmental partners.
