The year before Diana Janse went to Kabul, she was a desk officer at the European Security Department in Stockholm. Diana Janse was born in 1970. She started working at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1999 and served in Kabul from
2004-2006. At the age of 39, she was appointed Ambassador, one of the youngest ever in the Swedish Foreign Service.
