Über den Autor / die Autorin

Prof. Suvarna is a Consultant Histopathologist, based at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. He has a special interest in cardiovascular and respiratory/thoracic pathology. He is the lead examiner for Certificate for Autopsy Training (CHAT) for the Royal College of Pathologists, as well as the lead for the pathology component for the Royal College of Surgeons.

He has experience of several decades of surgical cardiac pathology alongside autopsy related pathology. He is a national referral point for complex cardiac disease and provides expert court testimony.
