Playing Both Sides: Decoding and Mythmaking The Slovenian artist Jasmina Cibic (b. Ljubljana, 1979; lives and works in London) exemplifies a young generation of creative minds born in the former Yugoslavia whose works address social, political, and historical themes. In 2013, she represented her country at the Venice Biennale. Cibic's projects synthesize gesture, drama, and reenactment.
