Excerpt from The Market Reporter, Vol. 4: November 26, 1921
Due principally to the light offerings cow beef as a class was relatively more steady than steer beef. Sharp and uneven declines again featured the trade in bulls. While Comparatively few of the better grades were offered, all markets were weak and closing prices were off 50¢ to $1. Kosher beef was in fair demand throughout the week and, except a decline of $1 at New York, eastern markets were steady Slight de clines on the better grades were registered at Chicago after midweek.
