Da ultimo non ambisco credere, che questo mio scritto meriti di essere offerto e dedicato a Sl illustre città., ma mi conforta il pensiero di avervi lavorato quanto era in mio potere; e non dispero che altri più fortunato di me, trovando notizie e documenti, che oggi mancano, ad illustrare le Zecche di Salerno, faccia piu interes sante e più completo questo mio Catalogo.
