La figure la Planche I représente, en section longitudinale, un jeune embryon dans son prothalle, qu'il commence seule ment a percer. Avec beaucoup de difiiculté il a été possible de mettre en liberté ce jeune embryon qui s'est présenté alors, comme dans la figure lb. En le roulant il se trouvait avoir une forme a-peu-pres cylindrique, sans excroissance laterale.
