Excerpt from Minutes of the Fiftieth Session of the Kentucky Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church South: Held in Covington, Ky., September 14-20, 1870
On motion, the Conference agreed to sit with open doors until otherwise ordered.
Question 2 was then taken up, and the character of the following brothers was examined, passed, and they were continued on trial: Jasper N. Current, D. W. Robertson, H. R. Blaisdell, and Jas. Holmes. The character of Wm. L.
Corbin was examined and passed, but he was discontinued. On motion, the Presiding Elder was allowed to employ him.
