Water consumption in the textile dye house is very high. Water as a utility is becoming more and more costly, and its availability is becoming increasingly scarce. The nature of the pollution that accompanies the dyeing industry is primarily due to the non-biodegradable nature of the dyes along with the strong presence of toxic trace metals/acid/alkali/carcinogenic aromatic amines traceable in the effluents.
