This work is intended as a guideline for the development of Learn_IT!, or 'L'italiano a portata di mano', a multimedia mobile application accessible through mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops. As a practical language learning tool, Learn_IT! will help adult migrants study Italian language not only from a pragmatical, functional and instrumental perspective but also from an integrative point of view. As this book will demonstrate, the acquisition of Italian as an L2 competences is a powerful booster for the integration of migrants and refugees into the Italian social fabric, both providing them with a better access to its labour market and endowing them with a useful vademecum that will enhance their conversation skills, setting the basis for a better and more advantageous interaction with Italian language natives and speakers.
Über den Autor / die Autorin
Giorgio Rosalia was born in Catania, Sicily in august 1988. He studied at the Cä Foscari University of Venice where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Language Sciences and then was awarded a Master Degree in Language Teaching. He has been living between Venice and Catania working as FL teacher.
