Avec une tendresse vache, un psychiatre raconte les mères trop affectueuses, un brin abusives. Ce qu'elles ont derrière la tête. Leurs petites phrases (« Sois prudent », « Couvre-toi bien », « Mange, voyons », « Arrange-toi un peu », etc.). L'art qu'elles ont de culpabiliser leurs enfants. Ou de se poser en éternelles victimes. Leurs manies (tout ranger, tout conserver, tout recycler). Le curieux rapport qu'elles entretiennent avec la nourriture.
