Uropygial Gland and Uropygialectomy - Uropygialectomy effects on production, GIT anatomy and histology as well as growth hormone of Akar Putra chicken

This book introduces a new technique to improve the body performance of the chicken through partial ablation of a uropygial gland (Uropygialectomy). Noticeable enhancement in chicken production performance as well as the anatomy and histology of GIT were achieved for treated chicken compared than a control group. This application will cause a revolution in the poultry industry as well as will significantly contribute in its evolution by increasing the economic viability obtained through an increase the chicken product.

El autor es profesor del Departamento de Producción Animal de la Facultad de Agricultura de la Universidad de Bagdad (Iraq). Completó su DVM en 2006, MSc en 2008 en el Dept. de Anatomía e Histología, Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria, Universidad de Bagdad. También obtuvo el título de Doctor en 2016 en la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad de Putra Malasia.
