Ai Weiwei has personally overseen the conception, design, image editing and sequencing of the publication, which includes an interview with the director of La Virreina Centre de la Imatge, Llucià Homs, in the artist`s studio in Beijing and an essay of the curator Rosa Pera. From the photographic series of the eighties and nineties in New York and Beijing to more recent productions, this book includes unpublished works , new creations and special installations designed by Ai Weiwei on the occasion of the exhibition. A joint publication between La Virreina Centre de la Imatge and La Fábrica that accompanies the exhibition at La Virreina Centre de la Imatge until February 2015.
