The concept of education is dynamic. It does not begin at school, but begins at birth of man and ends, not when he graduates, Post-graduates or acquires a Ph.D from the university, but at his death. Hence, education is a life-long process.Present study was done with the help of survey method. This method plays significant role in research as can be seen from the statement. "The survey method is one of the most effective and sensitive instrument of research . survey can produce much needed knowledge . Dr. S.R. Ranganathan describes the role of the library in the content of modern education in the following words : "The library is the heart of the school, from which every activity in the school radiates and by which it all gets irradiated. The library should literally and figuratively be the hub of every educational institution and the librarian should be a guide philosopher and friend of all its inhabitants. The primary responsibility of the secondary school library is to build up a stock of books and kindred material reveal to the learning and teaching needs of the students and teachers respectively.
