Bursting Out", das erste Live-Album von Jethro Tull, wurde während der europäischen Heavy Horses-Tour im Mai und Juni 1978 an verschiedenen Orten aufgenommen.
Jetzt wird das Album in einem erweiterten 3CD/3DVD-Format neu aufgelegt, neu abgemischt vom legendären Steven Wilson und mit einer Reihe von Extras:

• CD 1: Jethro Tull live: Bursting Out (Part 1) - A Steven Wilson stereo remix
Soundcheck recordings - A Steven Wilson stereo remix. Tracks 7, 10, 11 (full version) & 12-16 previously unreleased

• CD 2: Jethro Tull live: Bursting Out (Part 2) - A Steven Wilson stereo remix
Soundcheck recordings - A Steven Wilson stereo remix. Tracks 11-13 previously unreleased

• CD 3: contains an edited version of the 1978 Madison Square Garden Show which
was issued in 2009 but now mixed by Steven Wilson.

• DVDs 1 & 2 have the remixed tracks in 96/24 stereo and 5.1 surround plus the flat transfers of the original album at 96/24 stereo.

• DVD 3 has the full 93-minute MSG show including 50+ minutes of video which was part of a transatlantic broadcast with the BBC and Radio 1. The audio is 48/24 stereo and 5.1 surround.

    Dieses Live Album von Jethro Tull hat es in sich . Jethro Tull in absoluter Höchstform , mit der ansage von Claude Nobs . War übrigens mein zweites Konzert überhaupt , das ich Live erleben durfte in der Total bestuhlten Festhalle in Bern am 28. Mai 1978

    heavy horses - tour. geile doppel live scheibe, welche für einmal nicht in england oder in den Staaten oder Japan aufgenommen wurde sondern, read it and weep, in der FESTHALLE IN BERN!!!! Legendary Jethro Tull at some of their bestest!!!

    es hat eine weile gedauert bis ich diese cd wieder einmal ausgegraben habe, aber ich ich kann mich der meinung von freak brother nur anschliessen.

    "And if you just bought this disc or, perhaps, only borrowed it, thank you I.A."

    schön das sie immer noch erhältlich ist.

    Die beste Tull Live CD die es gibt und je geben wird. Und erst noch in der Schweiz aufgenommen. Auch besser als jede Best-Of.
