The oms live on the far away planet of ygam, ruled by a society of blue-skinned giants called traags, who keep the oms as domesticated pets for their children. but when one orphaned om manages to escape with a traag knowledge device, he unites a society of wild oms to use the knowledge in a revolt against their exploitive treatment. the wild oms attack the traags in their most vulnerable spot by traveling to a strange planet, a mystical moon orbiting around their home world, which holds the secret to the traag's existence.

    Der Film ist grossartig, die DVD leider katastrophal: Die Untertitel lassen sich nicht ausschalten und sind verwischt, zudem lässt die Bildqualität arg zu wünschen übrig. Zu guter Letzt, ist das Extramaterial ist nicht erreichbar, denn der Player springt immer wieder zum Sprachwahlmenue. Fazit: NICHT kaufen!!!

    tschechisches wunderwerk aus den 70ern! die ideen in diesem sf-trickfilm sind einfach einzigartig. die geschichte ist sehr ausgefallen. sehr modern. zeitlos. ein klassiker schlechthin. kaufen!
    einziger schwachpunkt: man merkt, dass am schluss nur noch wenig vom budget übrig war. die geschichte hätte länger abgehandelt werden können.
