at the far east of europe, with a christian tradition dating back to the 4th century, armenia is a martyred nation. during its history, it has suffered invasions, persecution, deportations and genocides. today, almost half of the armenians live outside of their country but against al odds, armenia didn't loose its soul. like millions of others, yeghish manoukian, the "doudouk" player, has left home to seek his fortune. back to erevan for a brief visit with his family, he invites you to spend a week of celebration, meetings with old friends, music and wanderings... on the paths to the soul.
