Invisible Universe - Proceedings of the Conference

Modern cosmology has established that most of the universe is invisible and made of unknown mysterious matter and energy components. This book gathers the most recent and promising theoretical, observational and experimental advances in the quest to unveil the nature of the mysterious dark matter and dark energy. The invisible universe now constitutes a precious and unique experimental laboratory where fundamental theories of physics can be tested, from general relativity to the physics of elementary particles in energy ranges inaccessible to our Earth laboratories. This conference has therefore gathered physicists from various areas, ground-based and space-based observations, experimental particle physics, experts in general relativity, numerical simulations and high-energy physics, to give the largest possible overview of the present researches on these crucial questions.
