Jane Roberts (1929 - 1984) war zunächst 'normale' Schriftstellerin und schrieb u. a. Sciencefiction-Bücher. 1963 kam sie zum ersten Mal in Kontakt mit einer Wesenheit, die sich selbst 'Seth' nannte und als 'Energiepersönlichkeit' bezeichnete.
