Tariq Modood is Professor of Sociology, Politics and Public Policy and the founding Director of the Centre for the Study of Ethnicity and Citizenship at the University of Bristol. For the first time, it brings together leading international authorities on ethnicity, nationalism and minority rights from both social and political theory, with the aim of fostering further interdisciplinary debate.
