Journey through Saxony

In this book over 180 photographs show Saxony in all its glorious variety, with five specials focussing on famous Saxons from Johann Sebastian Bach to Karl May, the great powers of Augustus the Strong, the traditions of the Erzgebirge, the language of the Saxons and local specialities such as "Stollen" and "Leipziger Allerlei".

Tina Herzig, geboren 1961 - und ihr Mann Horst (geboren 1954) arbeiten zusammen als Fotografen und Grafiker für renommierte Verlage und Zeitschriften. Seit 1997 veröffentlicht das Ehepaar auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene Bildbände und Kalender.

Horst Herzig lebt in Bensheim und ist als freischaffender Fotograf und Designer tätig. Frankreich und insbesondere Paris hat er über Jahre hinweg bereist.

Sylvia Gehlert, Romanistin, Germanistin, lebt seit 30 Jahren in Paris. Sie unterrichtet an einer Pariser Hochschule und arbeitet als Autorin und Übersetzerin im Bereich Kunst und Jugendliteratur.
