Konrad Becker, LL.M. (Com.), wurde 1980 in Leipzig geboren. Nach seiner Berufsausbildung in einer renommierten Privatbank und berufsspezifischen Weiterbildungen schloss er sein Studium der Europäischen Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Europäischen Fernhochschule Hamburg im Jahr 2006 mit dem Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) ab. Es folgte ein weiteres berufsbegleitendes Studium des Wirtschaftsrechts für die Unternehmenspraxis an der Universität des Saarlands, das der Autor im Jahr 2012 mit dem Master of Commercial Law, LL.M. (Com.), abschloss. Seit 2001 ist der Autor in der Finanzbranche beschäftigt und hat seit mehreren Jahren seinen beruflichen Schwerpunkt im Bankenaufsichtsrecht.
Felix Stalder (PhD) ist Dozent für Digitale Kultur und Theorien der Vernetzung an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste und langjähriger Moderator der nettime-Mailingliste. Er forscht u.a. zu Freier Kultur, Privatsphäre und Suchtechnologien.
