The National Route 1 Via Alpina is a section of the network of long-distance hiking routes of the same name. Five long-distance trails cross eight Alpine countries from Trieste to Monaco. On Swiss soil, National Route 1 Via Alpina leads from Vaduz over numerous Alpine passes to the Trüttlisberg Pass near Lenk and from there ond the international route to the Great St Bernard Pass or in four stages to Montreux on the national feeder of the Via Alpina. Experience a breathtaking Alpine world and a rich variety of living, cultural and natural eviroments in 19 stages and a total of 370 kilometers.
