»Werdet wie die Kinder«, sagt Jesus von Nazareth, andernfalls »werdet ihr nicht ins Himmelreich kommen« (Mt 18,2). Doch was bedeutet dieses »wie«? In theologischer Perspektive ist vom »Kind Gottes« und der Gotteskindschaft des Glaubens die Rede; humanwissenschaftlich geht es um das biologische und soziale Kindsein, um Kindheit als Lebensalter eines heranwachsenden Menschen. Welche Gemeinsamkeiten, aber auch welche Unterschiede gibt es hier? Entsprechende Fragen, die auch mit der Zukunft der Kirche, den Anfängen im Glauben und dem aktuellen Umgang mit Kindern in der Kirche zu tun haben, behandeln diese Beiträge in interdisziplinärem Kontext. From a theological perspective, it refers to the »child of God« and the divine sonship of faith; from a human sciences perspective, it relates to biological and social childhood, to childhood as the age of a growing human being. What similarities and differences can be seen here? These contributions address corresponding questions, which also relate to the future of the Church, the beginnings of faith and the current treatment of children in the Church, in an interdisciplinary context.
