Kai Feng is a professor in the College of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering at Hunan University. He obtained his B.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 2003, his M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in 2006, and his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 2009. He joined the Institute of Precision Engineering at the Tokyo Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor in 2010. Currently, he serves as the executive dean of the College of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering at Hunan University, China. He has long been engaged in the development of ultra-high-speed and ultra-precision key components and equipment.
Hanqing Guan is an associate professor and postgraduate supervisor of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Hunan Institute of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. from Hunan University. From December 2022 to December 2024, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is committed to the research on the theory and application technology of active/intelligent rotor-gas bearing systems.
Yuanlong Cao is a lecturer and postgraduate supervisor of the College of Mechanical Engineering of University of South China, graduated from Hunan University with a doctor's degree. He is engaged in the research and development of high-speed intelligent gas bearings and their rotor systems. He has participated in two national key research and development projects and equipment pre-research funds, presided over one provincial natural science fund, and served as the editor of Bearing magazine.
