Power plant engineering or power station engineering is a division of power engineering, and is defined as "Large amount of power is generated using prime movers in a site or layout called power plants". The field is focused on the generation of power for industries and communities. The engineering aspect of power plant management has evolved with technology and has become progressively more complicated. The authors have been encouraged to write this book for the benefit of students of engineering and researchers due to their contribution in power generation covering the syllabi at the international level.
