Comparison of various GUI based Testing Tools - Second Edition

Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) have become the most popular means used to interact with today's software. Modern software applications are becoming more and more complex so does the GUI is implemented. Generally, GUI constitutes 45-60% of total software code and it can be the source of bugs. Hence there is a need for testing GUI code. GUI has characteristics that are different from those of conventional software so they need a different methodology for testing.
