Ulteriori informazioni

The textbook covers topics from the basics to advanced aspects of hernia surgery. It is written in a clear and easy-to-understand manner by many reputed national and international authors who have invented and pioneered new hernia procedures. As hernia surgery rapidly evolves into a unique branch of surgical specialty, with more than 20 new procedures and nomenclatures, this book addresses all practical points of open, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures. It aims to provide clarity on simple to complex hernias. This book serves as a reference for practicing surgeons, minimal access surgeons, fellows, and resident surgeons. Hernia surgery has a rich history of evolution, and with the rapid development of technology and electronic gadgets, it is gaining pace and demand due to the advantages of minimally invasive and robotic surgeries for early recovery and patient care. Although open hernia surgeries and abdominal wall reconstructions have their place in hernia management, the future of surgical care, especially with the help of AI, cannot be ignored. This book is a comprehensive guide on hernias and abdominal wall reconstruction, written succinctly for all readers.
This book is an essential guide for many practicing surgeons (open, laparoscopic, and robotic) around the world.
