Xu Anbiao, Deputy Director of the Legislative Affairs Committee and Member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Ph.D in Law. He has over twenty years’ experience in legislation and participated in the formulation of the Constitution, Electoral Law, Law on Legislation and other important laws. He also serves as the Deputy President of the China Law Society. He has published dozens of articles, include the “Division of the Legislative Power among the Central and Local Legislative Bodies” and “The Deputies’ Exercise of Powers and Functions and the Guarantee”.

D. in Law, is Professor of the School of Foreign Studies and Dean of the Graduate School of East China University of Political Science and Law, selected as Changjiang Scholar by the Ministry of Education of china in 2015. his research lies in the areas of legal translation history, history of international law and Sino-Foreign exchanges of the civilizations of law. Qu has authored over 100 articles for Social Sciences in China, Historical Review, China Translators Journal, Semiotica and other renowned journals. His major publications include “From Extraterritoriality to Extraterritorial Regulation: A Jurisdiction Theory Perspective”, “Early English Translations of Chinese Legal Terms: A Study Based on Robert Morrison’s Wuche yunfu” and “A Re-translation and Study of the Treaty of Nanking”. He also published some sensational translations and monographs including the Unequal Treaties and Non-equivalent Translations and Research from Dictionaries: Translation History of Legal Terms in China and China's Entrance into the Family of Nations (Chinese edition).
Zhan Jixu, Master of Translation of Shanghai International Studies University, Ph.D in Law and Assistant Research of East China University of Political Science and Law. His research areas include legal translation and history of international law. He has published articles and translations in Journal of East China University of Political Science and Law, Foreign Languages and Their Teaching, Legal Method and others. He has also been engaged in legal translation for nearly ten years.
