Joseph Kwilu Dabuka nasceu em 22 de novembro de 1966 em Tumikia, na província de Kwilu, na RDC. Possui um diploma estatal em Química-Biologia (Missão Protestante de Kivamva). É licenciado em Química-Física pelo ISP/KIKWIT. Atualmente, é professor de química no Institut Ngwanza des Frères Joséphistes de Kinzambi em Kinshasa e assistente no ISP/Kitoy.
