Dr. Lik Tong Tan is a Principal Lecturer at the Natural Sciences and Science Education Department, National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, specializing in marine natural products, chemical ecology, and microbial diversity. With a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Oregon State University, he has been recognized among the top 2% scientists by Stanford University in Medicinal & Biomolecular Chemistry and has received multiple teaching and research accolades. A Fellow of The Singapore Institute of Biology, he actively mentors students and contributes to marine science research and marine education initiatives in Singapore.
 Dr. Novriyandi Hanif is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, IPB University, Indonesia. He received his MSc and DSc in Organic Chemistry from the University of the Ryukyus and Nagoya University, Japan, respectively. He then carried out post-doctoral research in Chemistry and Biology at the University of Prince Edward Island, Canada. His research interest is focused on organic chemistry of marine natural products.  While advancing natural product sciences in Indonesia, he served as the chair of international summer courses on marine natural products in 2019 and 2021.
